Introduction to Practical Philosophy

This course of ten weekly sessions offers students a fresh and effective approach to the great questions of life. It takes the master philosophies of East and West and examines how they can be put to immediate use.

The course shows how these enormous questions are not of passing theoretical interest, but are an effective guide to life and how it can be lived to the full.

The result is happiness and a freedom from the tiny cage of habitual existence.

Through discussion, practice and observation, students explore such questions as:
Who am I?
What am I doing here?
What am I meant to be doing?
